AECO TECHNOLOGIES (M) SDN. BHD. (AECO TECH) formerly known as Advanced Equipment Co., established in Malaysia since 1985 to service land, marine, air, navigation, radio and satellite communication and marine electronics sector in Southeast Asia It was the first company in Malaysia to bring in the Global Positioning System (GPS) technology in 1989 when the infant GPS was first made available to the masses. In collaboration with its associate company AE Innovative Technologies (M) Sdn. Bhd. the company has made tremendous progress in its Research & Technology programs towards GPS related products that emphasized on designs for local manufacturability and performance. AECO has successfully implemented in-house nurtured technology for hardware design, PCB design as well as firmware, software and Geographical Information System (GIS) development. AECO’s technical staff have a very strong knowledge and experience in telecommunication, encryption, GPS-based applications, database management, GIS and system integration. The company’s strength is also reflected in its very strong industrial experiences in product and technology development, manufacturing and support services. We are the authorized distributor for the full range of Garmin Global Positioning System (GPS) products for the territory of Malaysia with an extensive network of dealers throughout the country. The Garmin GPS products carried by us include the full range of Aviation, recreational, terrestrial and marine GPS receivers as well as Vehicle Navigation Systems (VNS).
